Description:
Damsel bugs (not to be confused with damsel flies) are a small, narrow insect that typically appears later in the summer. They are only about 3/8 - 1/2 inch long and yellow, grey or brown in color. They have long heads and antennae and a beak that is carried under their body except when piercing their prey. They overwinter in ground cover, winter grain and alfalfa.
